I put up a scan of the accompanying text for the italian arms.

EDIT: i tried to shrink the files but tis not doable. if i choose a smaller scan, the detail just doesn't come through. if i could send them to someone to resize, that'd be fantastic.

I picked out my R.T.Gwynn catalogue and 2 or so hours got me this> m There will be more as i scan later on. Trust me, these are large files, but worth the wait. NOTE: I...

Here is a superb image from a catalogue i have that not only shows superb craftmanship but the 'carrying handle' in all its glory :-). Scanned from the christies arms and armour auction 1991, back when armour and weapons were cheap-relatively :D .

I've seen Oxy acetylene used by a few people, armourers and welders and from what i saw, it's a good all rounder. barely any time at all to get a good yellow heat on 14g., if you have a gas saver thing, you hardly use much gas.

I don't suppose anyone has a clear, lagre image of how the plates are layed out do they? The one on Craigs' site is good but the layout is skewed by the fact that it is taken when the brigandine was finished, if you get me.

tried that before with others, it's slow and annoying, the thought of doing a couple of hundred is daunting, at best. I could compress them all so you just donwload the whole thing?
