My pourpoint & leg harness

A couple of people were asking about part of my 14th Century harness,, so I thought I'd put up a couple pics. Here's my pourpoint holding up my leg harness. The greaves hold themselves up, and yes, I changed out of my chucks before I took the field. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3634/3466022458_45c...

That's a pretty cool story. I've hearid a lot from numerous fighters how a slight woman probably won't do well in the shield wall. So it does me good to hear that it's not necessarily the case. It was unbelievable. I mean, those guys REALLY WANTED to get into the castle. I know she took the brunt o...

His Excellency, Sir Rodrigo Falcone, is an example to all good men-at-arms on the way to behave in all situations. I have found, in the past, that women raised in previous generations were societally cheated from a fighting mindset. Therefore, if they choose to take up fighting, it behooves me to ch...

Aim it a little lower, make it a slice instead of a percussive hit, and you could document it and call it a coup de jarnac.

Check out 'Indian Arms & Armour' by G.N. Pant. Has everything you want to know. You want Vol. 2, which is relevant to the Society's period.

If you're going to do it, do it up right! And post pics!
