I'm going to differ with Saritor; I don't think that doublet is the right idea. Ken Mondschein has the right of it - he often does! It's my opinion that an arming doublet looks remarkably like a regular old civilian doublet. But padded. I'm about to go down this road, too; the next evo in my ...

Audax, Sir Brian at Darkwood Armoury does a fantastic Shiavonna hilt with a solid trigger. They run about 100 bucks, but they rock. Have been using one for years. Plus they look better than almost anything out there. Uric WANT!!!!

There's a lot of judgement being tossed around about this group or that group, and it's all starting to glaze my eyes over. There is a lot of what I believe Sir Mordreth would call 'unseemly whining' being bandied about. In any subset of any group, there are always retards and idiots. Do you judge b...

#Yes. Much better. But that is a separate program. Sir, Cordially, I disagree with you on this. It is not a separate program; it is placed directly under the aegis of rapier; and although it's (at times) not used in a conventional 'rapier' framework, it's still classified as rapier. Cut & thrus...
