Though I prefer to rock out with Jackyl, especially Redneck Punk. But the stupid Marshals in the Midrealm won't let me fight Florentine Chainsaw, so I don't even bother playing "The Lumberjack" anymore. What a bunch of pussies. I saw those guys at a biker rally on the Rez up in Cherokee a few years...

Looking for old spun tops

First, go here and if you can, help Freiman out. Then, once you've done that, please read the following. Good evening! I am looking for a pair of old spun tops for an armouring project. Mild or stainless, doesn't matter. 12g bowl and 14g sides, if you please, and in a wearable condition. I'm going t...

That is one snazzy suit of armour, but I'm going to cordially disagree that it was Henrician. I think the burgonet is too late, as well as the articulated cuisses. Another thing that springs to mind is that Henry was one fat dude by the time he got older; I've seen his 'old fat boy' armour at the To...

I love the scenes in Talhoffer where the guy & girl are duking it out, she with a rock in her veil and he with a wooden club. I really wanna recreate that in the SCA with water sponges. I think it'd be a hoot.

Sir Daemon's squire Melrakki taught me about corkwood. You have to go get the good stuff from a wood place (he had some extra that he gave me), not rip it out of a bulletin board. Line the brow and the base of the back of the helm. My bell-helm went from going BONNNNNNNNNNNNG to going CRONK. Saved m...

You know, something's not quite right. What is this armour made to protect you from? Just plates rivetted to a leather or fabric robe isn't going to do *much* - not against blunt force trauma, because the plates don't overlap. Not slashing or stabbing (at least much) because there are spaces between...
