A Huscarl has been inducted into Calontir's GoA level fighting order.

several fighters in Atlantia suggested terry cloth towels for batting???? Good grief. Towels are made to absorb moisture, it's true, but they're not made to transfer it. They're made to hold it in. I'm just imagining that thing getting thrown in an armour box after fighter practice and ending up fu...

frère jean-michel is very wise, and should be heeded in this matter. I would recommend beginning with learning to fall, in and out of armor. Even if we are not taking people to the ground, accidents happen and falling is a reasonable skill set to have prior to authorization. . I also agree that it ...

Looking closer, that doesn't look like a buttspike; that looks like a greatsword and a spear being held together. Blackbow Cordially, Jonathan, here's why I disagree with that assessment. 1. All the other pommels in that sequence look like that. 2. This is a series of greatsword pictures presented ...

I've never seen a reference to painted armour. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, that just means I've never seen it. I've seen lots of references to 'blackened' armour, which could mean a variety of things. Blackening could be done a variety of ways.
