I don't know, as far as chairs go, it looks quite valid.

The funny thing?

England, France, and Russia ALL use red blue and white in their national colors.

Any of these would make great educational and object lessons. Put any one of those pictures next to a guy in DV armour and lead with the headline, "Which would you rather be?" followed by the "it's not that hard to do it right" bit.

Inspirational, Chris. Nicely topic.

I think the comment was something about how vague this thread title is. It tells NOTHING about the subject of the thread, so you HAVE to open the thread to see what it's about.

It's the same problem with threads titled "A question." Well, duh. A question about WHAT?

Re: Momonari kabuto

I get that, but the shikoro NEVER matches the koshimaki. The koshimaki matches the helmet. It is PART of the helmet. Shikoro have always been, essentially, removable and replaceable; the koshimaki never changes. It helps in defining the bend of the shikoro, too. People keep leaving it off, and then ...

Re: Momonari kabuto

Since the customer is adding his own Shikoro, I'd suspect that he'll add the koshimaki as well. It'd be easier to get everything to fit. If the visor was placed higher on the bowl, it would be the proper depth. And since the shikoro is being added, the visor could have been the proper width. The sh...

Nice work.

In terms of Japanese aesthetics, the visor is a bit too wide and a bit too short, and the helmet lacks a koshimaki -- but other than that... nice. :)

Felix, this is gutting.

You cut a hell of an impressive figure on the field, and the thought of that kit being in the possession of one who would look at it and go "Wha?.....?" makes me feel sick.
