I've known Flieg for thirty years. In a society predicated on honor, and one which he helped to found, there is nobody whose honor I trust as much as I trust Flieg's. Nobody. I have to say that Val speaks words of goodness and truth. I've only known Flieg personally since '92, and although we disag...

Have you thought of approaching Discovery or History TV? I can see a reality series based on a "modern medieval dojo" and the attitude you display seems to be a good median between real information and something that actually teaches while also entertaining and making it something people m...

Hey, feel free. It's bitchin' cool. (Not to be confused with wicked cool, which requires a Massachussetts return address.) Seriously, the first five minutes I was watching I was thinking "what the hell?" but... damn, it actually DID teach me stuff, and it was fun and funny in the process. ...

Personally, I find the take somewhat refreshing. I'm sure the masters joked and kidded from time to time. I'm looking forward to a second DVD. I admit that at first I was annoyed -- "Why can't this guy be more serious?" But then I got into what he was doing, and his style, and... well, he ...

You really need to do a photo-based web comic of the Nibelungenlied with these. If you've seen Legostar Galactica, you know what I mean.

They don't seem to be saying "they wore corsets." They seem to be saying "you can wear a corset."

It sounds like the corset idea is addressing our more modern rotund selves in how to fit a proper silhouette more.
