I wear one, its an essential part of my kit. I do 14th and 15th cent. Mine was made for me by my wife and it very well tailored, I would not go with out it, in fact I have sold off almost all of my armour, but will not part with the "cote" Linen fabric, bamboo batting, both wick moisture and the bam...

I have spent hours with customers doing just that, all on my dime. I had one customer with over 70 e-mails working out details etc, pain in the ass for sure, upon completion some busy body loud mouth fighter picked apart his helmet at a practice and he sent me more e-mails expressing his disappointm...

This is a mild steel spang, all 14/13 ga construction.
12 ga brass nasal, brass rivets, fully welded.
Nice fit for a 24 in grape.
