Thats what made mine so nice, the rubber compound in the ball absorbed the impact, we swung this thing at each others heads with alot of force and found it very tolerable, certainly more friendly than a stiff pollarm shot.

Ive done alot of work making a flail that was safe. Ultimatly i cast a rubber head onto a cord, sheather this cord in rubber fuel line and attatched it to a rattan handle. It was used a great deal at unofficial practices with no real issues, the rubber gas line gave a "spring" to the cord that kept ...

Bummer on the short sleeves, I point my vams cops, cuisses everything to a foundation garment, there is not one single buckle or strap on my entire kit, so all repairs can be made with the the same cord. Even my gorget ties and points. I tell all my customers that a foundation garment is the first p...

i have an auto dimming helmet, i love it, i probably weld 12 to 14 hrs a week, making my grills requires alot of positioning, holding etc, having a hand free is important.
Mine was inexpencive, i can go out to the shop and get the make and model if you want.

I sell completed shields Clay, the best way to price it is to build one and keep track of the time and materials, its more an issue of wat it costs and whats a fair wage as opposed to what people want to pay. People will always want to pay less.

cool topic, the katanas curve i believe is happenstance, its a byproduct of its method of construction. The soft spine and the hard edge respond diff during the building process
with the soft spine "shrinking" pulling the sword into its general graceful curve.
