Ive use the shrinker and the stretcher when i worked in a street rod shop, great for exactly what they recomend, not good for armouring, also they do mar the surface, quite a bit infact

Ron does not press his tops, they are made with a power hammer, im not sure if its a pullmax or what, but they are not pressed.
A small press would be nice for bending the rim on a boss or something similar, i think less than ideal for making armour

im still undecided, id like alot of lamella, at least 5000, but id rather have a shape other than the birka, im convincing myself i should just swallow the cost a new die and have them made locally. Im after a long term solution i guess to always having them around
