I'd like it in DVD format. Just curious, but what about the other presentations from the conference, are you looking into putting those on DVD also? Due to the content, images/sources/content used, it may not be possible to make them all available. However, as we get all the paperwork completed, Is...

We have the Wallace Collection's full support on publication of the video content. We are also publishing papers in conference proceedi...

I would be depending on the video quality (link not working right now). For instance I have HWMA videos, the German produced "The Ochs Present The Longsword of Johannes Liechtenauer, Part I" is fantastic, filmed with in a studio with a pro camera man. The DVD Brian Price put out of a seminar he hos...

I would come, but for the fact that April 29th is mein bruder's birthday, mein cousin's birthday, the Junior French Trip Auction day, and I've already been to the conference this year and the last workshop, so I suppose it's not exactly unfair. You will be missed. We are trying to work things up on...

For the academic and practical advancement of the craft there is a tie in my mind between the ARS (armor research society) and the Midwest Armourers Guild. I just ordered MAG's raising dvds. Good luck to them both the stronger they get the better informed we will be. The Midwest Armour Guild existe...

Actually, a hard copy of the rolls is a good idea. It's possible there already is one, however. Mike, Indeed, ARS maintains both membership receipts and a single combined "hard/offline" copies of the membership list. This is done to ensure non-profit compliance and, in the event of a catastrophic t...

The decision was made to centralize communication regarding the journal submissions because it takes a considerable amount of time (if it is even possible) to round up information from multiple sources. There is also the chance that an issue might be missed or not properly tracked. By filtering all ...

ARS Website - Technical Problem
There is a technical problem with the ARS website. The hosting company (www.globat.com) has been notified. For some reason the domain is being forwarded to the top level registrar (www.enome.com), Enome, Inc. We regret the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this is not something in our direct control and...

Re: I already got one, its very nice...
I have this book. 1929 hand numbered original. I would sell it for the right price (starting bid minimum of $1000). I would then take most of the money from the sale and buy the reprint. Seriously this is some nice armourpr0n. Cheers! ~K Kevin, I will happily give you twice (perhaps even three time...

They would make a lot more money by selling a lot more books at a lower price. Hard to say without knowing the cost of the project, number of books run and other pertinent details, don't you think? Unfortunately, I doubt that method would work... not in this case. The quality is superb and fairly e...

Beautifully printed and presented books that I feel are well worth the price. While the English translations are at times spotty and appear hurried, you can always refer to the Italian text for a better understanding when needed. A necessary cornerstone for any armour library wth an interest in 14th...

Huh. My apologies, I was mistaken. The names on the board were standardized at one point, right? I do recall that. Yeah, but the admin system information has remained the same. I haven't seen our copies yet. It is a bit distressing that they got distributed to conference attendees nearly a month ago, and they may not have even been mailed out to the rest of us yet. It may be they have been mailed out, but book or periodicals can travel slow, depending on how they are mail...

Re: Feedback
The only feedback would be on logistics. At least two presenters had difficulty with version mismatches of powerpoint. It might be beneficial to get the briefings a day or two ahead of time to try to work out those issues. - Roland I was unaware of any version mismatches in Powerpoint. I believe th...
