The plates can be thinner due to this and the fact that at many points throughout the piece you will have a triple overlap of plates. Brian- Have you ever found any analysis of the textile gloves surviving in the 14th c gauntlets? There are, I think, three- two in Churburg and the Black Prince's. Hey,

Use a pourpoint. A long vest with reinforced points on the front of the hip/waist area that support the armour from the shoulder.

DARIVS ARCHITECTVS has made a real nice one. He can help.

It worked in real life... it should work now just as well.

ahhhh, So it would seem that I would want to stick with the coat of plates. Now the next question is are there any patterns besides the one in the archive that anyone would suggest? I have worked ABS plastic, as well as hammered plate, I like lightness but am a bit of a stickler in my advanced year...
