I got it in an email that claimed "actually taken from student essays", but it seems too convienent to me. It strikes me though that it could be the work of one evil programmer and a very wron spellcheck program.

Depends - any culture that used lamellar usually used a helm. That's lotts of centuries and lotts of places. ...from the Mongols, to the Romans, to the Brits, to the Russians, etc... The WMA plates are the D shaped (I'm limited in my knowledge on those). So the Q is: Who used D shaped lamellar plate...

Is this a good source for my research?

Is this a good source for my research? The nineteenth century was a time of many great inventions and thoughts. The invention of the steamboat caused a network of rivers to spring up. Cyrus McCormick invented the McCormick raper, which did the work of a hundred men. Samuel Morse invented a code of t...

Here it is: Sarnac, have you thought of having your plates tumbled, you can buy a small tumbler for under 100.00 or you can find a service on the web or in your yellow pages to have them tumbled, i am fairly sure there is an agressive enough media to remove the powdercoating, then various media can ...

I considered that it may come out to be a "reality TV" type thread, but I'm actually looking for the stories where the Marshals rule the day and where Marshals Court has the say.

(More of a "T. J. Hooker" or CHIPS, than Law and Order.)

At the very least I'm hoping for examples of how not to act.

Not a bad one but... The worst I've ever seen was a 6 on 6 melee. When you get this project done and in production, I'd like to discuss the possibility of you designing and making a full set of manica arms (top of hand to shoulder) and legs (toe to top of leg) in the same style for my SCA cataphractos persona.
