I wear almost nothing under my hauburk. Only a light muslin tunic as a base and then my thin linen or cotton dalmatica and nothing more. After the hauburk I don the lamellar. The only part that can really be struck is the bicept as the legs are covered with the cuisses. [img]http://www.honorblade.co...

Check with Sir Andreas Eisfalke
http://icefalcon.com/
He may be able to hook you up.
It may be chheper to ship it if you ask him to cut it to a desired legenth.
Also check with H.H. Perkins (note: they are not stick fighters, they're furniture makers)

I'd pad it with 14 guage steel. I enjoy being able to feed myself and speak and not drool, so I'd trust my noggin NOT to a helm of less that 14 gauge. Having said that, I make a 'spagin' of closed cell (against the metal) and open cell (against my head) foam. I like this because it provides snug pro...

Richard: What would be the positive and negative effects if you were allowed to attack an opponent from behind, but your attacks had to land on that opponents front. Meaning that you could come up behind me and throw wraps, thrusts* and butt-spikes* (* must land on my front and must avoid grappleing...

I have 2 of those chairs. They're great for vegging out in. Pampazans (sp?). I believe the rattan is treated with a lamanant. So, no you cant if they're treated. Plus I'm not sure you'd want to. I've heard curved weapons are great for cutting, not for smashing. If they're not treated, go ahead and t...

But rules aren't always added solely in response to problems that exist. They are sometimes added to improve the sport. Address the problems and fix them by teaching people the rules of engagement. Don't legistale for a few bad apples. It cheepens the sport. I'm from a different Kingdom than His Gr...

You're missing the key point Gaberiel, The Duke HIT me. I will happily die from a calibrated blow. Now, I ask you (per thread), OTHER than Declared Death IN the Behind, is there a way to safely incorporate striking from behind? I'm partial at this time to: Come up behind an opponent, throw a tap (do...

3-M spray adheasive: Had one bad experience with that stuff and covering a shield, though Thaddeus swears by it. I LOVE 3-m spray adheasive for mounting foam to metal though. Rawhide: I have the chews soaking in a bucket. These are almost white and have no stink (yet). I'm planning on mounting a bit...
