You can use your shield against your opponent's weapon or shield, but NOT their body (groin, arm, trunk, groin, head, groin, etc)

I used a thick coat of watered down elmers wood glue and a wide brush. Lotts on the AL, laid down the canvas, lotts more on top. Stays on great and has a solid shell now. Was easy to paint. Hasn't ripped yet (did it in Jan!).

:D
Good Luck.

Meh. I use a center grip oval and you'd be suprized how much control you have over how it moves on the X, Y, and Z access. relaxing and allowing the shield to accept the force of the blow (and pivot) robs the (Sword) attacker of the rebound for a follow-on shot. The best part is you have much better...

Making up a couple centergrip round shields, and have a couple questions. I covered the wood with canvas, wellglued. Should I put a layer of glue on the exterior as well? Will that strengthen it at all? Will that be a good surface for paint? D. Seb: Yep. I find the glue ON TOP of the canvas helps s...

Do those foam weapons have mass comparative to their rubber counterparts?
Do they absorb impact (like a foam spear head) or transfer impact like their rubber counterparts?
