I don't think most CAers would have a problem with face plate only. Honestly that is usually where I aim because it has the highest probability of being noticed. You really HAVE to try Adam Berry's arrows.

The only change I'd recommend would maybe to fill them with expansion foam. That way they'd never loose diameter, last longer, and not get crushed under foot.

The premis that since it's called "war" it is a war is flawed at the core, for our "fighting" does not approximate actual fighting in any manner.
