I would buy it in a moment if I had the available cash. A Tentsmiths fifteen foot round in the Sunforger goes for a little over a $1000 without poles or ropes.

It'll be a good buy.

By My Hand Mace Head

Okay, I have a By My Hand Mace Head. I have it mounted on a haft, but I need to know how to pad it, and what's legal. Does anyone have one of these?

Always glad to help! I am thinking of using two garments for these reasons: Primarily to avoid overload on one garment, partly to avoid the sucked in waist appearance that seems to happen with pourpoints. The pourpoint will have the body bracelet cinching it tightly to the body at mid to lower thora...

I have a recurring dream of equipping like a lance of four men at arms in kettles with padded jakks and splinted limb defenses. Kettles are the perfect "man-at arms"/"billman" helmet--they scream professional sub-noble warrior. Love' em. I have to buy like four of them from WMA--can I get a quantity...

I suspend my arms--which are from Jeff's shop--from a stoutly made tightly fitting cotehardie. I would like to suspend my legs from a pourpoint, but use a belt for now. What I will probably settle on, for SCA combat, is this, starting from inside to out: 1. Pourpoint. Legs will be pointed to this. 2...

He's got the hourglass close. The bottom bell needs to be a bit farther out, to permit full flexion of the wrist down--something I hope he can do on the finger gauntlets. But it's a sharp peice. By the way, weighed it: 15.6oz, just shy of one lb--the brass does weigh it down a bit. Jehan de Pelham, ...

11 or 12 gauge stainless is not common. Some localities seem to have them more often. 11 or 12 gauge stainless should be dang near indestructo. And Tom at Red Falcon Armories is wrong. People could be asking for ransoms or such from men at arms on the ground, if time permits. People who fall and are at the mercy of someone should ask quarter, if they wish, or offer ransom.
