There hasn't been a torch light tourney in four years. We just did that for the Iron Man Tourney at Kingdom 25th Year. I was actually going to run that tourney again for Kingdom 30th Year but we didn't get the bid. *shrugs*

I'm taking saturday off because we are stepping down as baronage that morning and I intend on er, celebrating, but assuming i'm feeling up to it, haha, I will be on the field on sunday.

13. Combatants will behave as knights and gentlemen, even if they have not attained this station as yet.

This is and will remain the most important rule. Whenever we forget that, we loose the kernel of what the SCA is suppose to be about.

Numbers for the event in general were down because of the economy and the threat of rain (which totally missed the fighting portion of the event.) Last year it was like 90 Mid and 90 AE and 80 Atlantians, so they split us. This year it was 90 Mid, and 95 AE and Atlantians. Aethelmarc fought smartly,...

I'm just saying a standard double elim with 8 fighters would be kinda boring, and short. Why not have just one eric and do a round robin until the finals? There would be lots of fights and attention would be focused on each instead of trying to watch 4 fights at once. It looks like sometime in the ...
