Worse than non-gracious cheering (consorts on the sidelines jumping up and down and clasping thier hands - YEAH!) are the audible sighs and groans from the crowd. I remember a crown finals where the second fight was decided by the how loud the crowd groaned when they 'thought' they saw something. Th...

Ice Castles is not a major tourney, nor is it a singles Tourney. Add the new Tournement of Chivalry to that list and you have it. Alot of the old tournies either don't happen or aren't presitigous anymore like Silver Chalice, or Storvik Novice/Unbelts, Feast of Hearn, etc. Basicaly you have Crowns, ...

(Tho I did better than your odds last crown.... ) I'm not in practice and i've developed a wierd physical thing that is screwing up my fighting. Seriously, i've been fighting like Wet Cat Butt. I may still ...

It has plates for kidneys/floating ribs, and a sternum pad. It also has a pocket for a spine pad, but you have to order the plate seperate. I stuck a piece of picklebarrel I had laying around in it that sticks up 6" or so above the pocket. Then, for war, I can stove my camelback bladder in there and...

You will need to either make a backplate or order another chest plate as they don't come with one. (I think theres is too small anyway to b...

The East won all three 'field' battles (if you can call them true fields with that bridge in the way) in a row, for 1 Point. We had them outnumbered too. They next won the first bridge (when they were also outnumbered) but Atlantian won the next two, for 1 Point. Then came the stupid lunch break.......

Help! Gavlanized Chain Mailed Disaster!!!

Ack! I'm a moron. At the beginning of the year Melisent bought a galvanized, riveted chainmail hauberk from Steve at Forth Armouries. I think the buttspike rule is there, Eric for freaks like Duke Ragnarr that sometimes like to fight with what is basically a Madu, a short spear/stick with two pointy ends.

I would not suggest putting a thrusting tip on the end of a 9' spear. It would be a waste of time.
