It is almost as if a SCA knight could brutally murder someone like his spouse go to prison for twenty years and keep his Knighthood only losing it posthumously after a stink was made about him. Could something like that really happen. You are moshing a couple of stories together there. Aoghous did ...

Ymir Photos
The ever amazing Ursus has pictures up from the Tourney of Ymir in Atlantia, held a couple of weeks ago. Lots of archivers in these.

Fighting reputation? Five that I have fought and would love to fight again (in no order) 1. Prince Lucan of the East 2. Duke Brannos from the Mid. 3. Duke Drake, Ansterroa. 4. Duke Gregor from the East. 5. Sir Stefan von Dresden, East. Five that I have never fought that I wish to: 1. Duke Sean (Arte...

If the shot powers through a block and still connects with good enough force for a good hit, the shot is good and should be called as such. The marshal should not have been calling shots in the first place. That is correct on both counts. It's up to the person struck to call a blow and if a shot hi...

Polypro swords seems to be holding up well. I am noticing a LOT of flex the closer to the Sweet Spot you strike. I can watch the thing flex around hard surfaces. Near the hand though it hits rather hard. I will say that I love that I haven't blown out a rattan sword in months using it for practice o...

Re: D'oh!
don't see what you're pointing out in the second pic. Philip is not wearing sneakers, though it might appear so. I need to buy that man some black athletic socks! Otherwise, people will think he's wearing Ice's badge. Obivously modern shoes and white socks on both combatants. (the blackspear guy wi...

Help with pointing shoulders.
So I bought several of these a while back: m I know that the correct thing to do is to sew points to a foundation garment and attach them that way but my problem is that I wear a number of different tunics/gambesons depending on the weather. Is there another simple way to attach them for use? Also, ...
