Mine are ROCK SOLID! I was hit across the knuckles closest to the fingernails and didn't get so much as a red mark! These work because they are what they look like: armor. And they are the way to go for hand protection.

Nissan, you are correct! It is a legal target and should be protected. According to the E.R. Dr. mine was the ONLY hyiod bone he had EVER seen broken in 15 years (broken with a steel bar, NOT SCA) It doesn't take too much to knock the fight out of someone's throat but you have to TRY to hurt them. The SCA says both the neck and the groin ARE legal targets. Some kingdoms have made rules making it against the rules to hit folks in the cup, to my knowlage the neck is a legal target everywhere. I hit people in the neck all the time and I've never thought much of it, I also get hit there, at a gue...

3003 is what you might call...
not good for shields. It will bend like crazy, on the up side you can bend it back! 6061 costs more but it's worth it.

Patterns for slat bed

I'm looking for patterns for a simple slat bed. I've seen enough of them at events that look the same that someone some where has to have them, I just need to find them.

Thanks

Teo ideas:
1) Use the rules for the "battle of the 30" just on a larger scale.
2) All two handed weapons, if you can't hold it with your fingers on the tips, it's too big you can't use it. oh yeah, no face thrusting allowed.
