Once upon a time I wanted to fight like a Knight, now I HAVE to fight like a Knight.

I am sworn to be formost in battle.

I have trained harder and fought more since I was given the belt than I ever thought I could before; to do any less would be to break my vow.

Duke Gaston de Vieuxchamps of Trimaris.
I have watched him win LOTS of tourneys with every weapon style out there... then change to right handed and do it again.

BTW: he is currently our Crown Prince. He won 3 months (I think) after suffering a broken sword arm.

I buy my buckles from tandy or I use repro buckles from kingskeep. When I buy from tandy, I spend the extrs coin and get the solid brass buckles and I use the (I think they call it) heel bar buckle. the plated steel ones are crap but I haven't had one of the brass ones break yet. I wish I could get ...

I have bought shoes from http://www.turnshoes.co.uk/ a few times, shipping for one pair to Fl was about 8 bucks. They make a good shoe for the price but if you can I'd buy from http://www.revival.us/ .

Side note: I fight in my shoes from http://www.turnshoes.co.uk/ and have for about a year, they hold up just fine to wear and tear.

Yep. I have a nice looking pair in pine made by Mike Spivey. Trestles can go from crude to elegant based on period iconography. They friction fit together from 3 parts: the A-shaped frame, the top stretcher, and the back single leg.

Actually I was speaking of a very real situation I faced in a melee. I was facing multiple opponents on basically 3 sides. (all within the 45 degree rule, but just barely).
