I have come to on the ground a couple times and not known how I got there. I've also had a couple of brown outs.

I've only ever knocked out one guy but that was a padding issue I think. I hit him and he just slumped into me. We sat down and got some water.

I wouldn't say they have issues with delivery, but they do take a while to get stuff to you.

does the neck need to be covered, IMHO yes. If an aventail has enough mass and it can absorbe the shock of impact, it does the job fine. Telling people what kind of armor they MUST use to protect a spific peice of their body is a bit closed minded. And MY bascinet is 14ga Stainless, it's 4 years old...

I would say the Illusion is worth the wait. It takes them a while but it's a GOOD SOLID Stainless bascinet. If you are worried about the ringing, attach a camail, that will kill the ring, add protection to the neck and look a lot better.
