I knee fight because it's the way our rules are written. I will contenue to do so untill we can get the rule changed. I'd like to go the a set # of telling blows as a standard with out acted out wounds. That # can be 1, I don't care. which is basicly what you are doing if you accept legs as kills . ...

We built an axe using one of these on a 5.5 foot length of 1.75 rattan with about 3 inches above the head. it's a bit stiffer the rathbone head on the 4.5 haft of 2inch rattan but no more so than the mandrake head (5 foot of 1 3/4 rattan). I could see where some might want some foam on the striking ...

can we please have a final wording, I really like what Asbjorn said To replace section V. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF BLOWS C. Pas d’Arms Dispensation With C. Alternate Combat Ending Conditions: A typical SCA combat uses the "Acted Wounds" scenario to determine when combat is finished and who has won. ...

If it is worded that the tourney specific rules state that you MUST have a cage to fight in that list then I will support the rule addition. Sir Cedric the Just of Dorchest...

Was the discussion tabled for a reason, or did it just fall to the side? I would love to see what changes are being suggested. No worries. I ...
