I had a great time at this tourney. I really wish people's kits were like this all the time Sivrid (3rd from the right in the in pic 112 above) they are. I tend to only remember the kits like this. The rest is like the "needle niose" on my old records, I know it there, it has to be there but for th...

Same 4 idiots at Gulf did that over and over (leaves em open to a nice spear shot in the chest, gut or nuts though). Saw a couple tards do it at Pennsic.

Can you carry your bow by the sturrup or prod? That shows me

I can find nothing in the rules tha tsays you must fall down. Your actions were fine. It is a common practice to retire the field after being bested without falling to the ground it also is accepted as being withing the rules to behave in this way. As a Knight and a(n Earl) Marshal, I would have iss...

You guys are across the street from Asgard, kind of behind Small Grey Bear, right? I'm on the other side of the yard, on the front fence. I might be able to fling a beer that far but why waste it? I live just past Trimaris Royal in a wall tent. When I am in a "comfortable evening state" I will frequently refer to my tent as my house but it is definately not two stories!

you know where I can get a house?

I don’t think that the original post warranted the total personal thrashing the fellow got. All he was asking was if anyone knew where he could get a horse tail and he got insulted and belittled until he no longer felt welcome. Personally, I disagree with his choice to wear a horse tail on an SCA ...

Ultimate? All of the above, plus they would be "Spock-proof" finger gauntlets - ie ones where the fingers could not be forced apart within the plane of the hand. facinating. That is what I like the most about my finger gauntlets, the ability to move my fingers independantly and without restriction.

I switched to a cotton/cotton liner about 4 months ago. It felt VERY different in my hands and even when I put it on. I wasn't too sure it would protect good enough. You shoule be comfortable gettin up in the morning and getting into harness and not getting out untill bed time. If not, you need to tweek your kit. It took me about 6 years to get my kit to that point. and sti...

I'll try to shrink the pic and add it as soon as I can.
