Get a good ankle brace (mac David makes a good one for cheep) and a solid set of insoles with arch support and a heel cup. It will make all the difference in the world. wear whatever you are comfortable with that you can fit those two things into. I'll see if I can find you a link to the brace I wear.

...I don't understand why something that was such a part of people's life gets so overlooked in our portrayals. A while back the medieval living history crowd in Europe went overboard on (period) rosaries and you couldn't look at a group of costumed participants without spotting a set of beads or t...

you might want to give a look here (to start) m Devotional beads came in many styles and sizes. You can do a lot more than the basic 10 or 50. By the By, looking very nice. I have carried a set I was given at my Knighting since the day I got them, I don't understand why something that was such a par...

I hope to be in stock within a few days. As many of you know I am a high school principal. Making vervelles is a sideline for me. To make matters worse I am also working on my doctorate at the same time. The school year has just ended and I found myself in my workshop today pouring bronze for the f...

We play with full leg targeting in the back yord some. *** note*** GET GREAVES getting hit in the meat on the outside of the calf sucks but it isn't unsafe. Nothing prohibits someone from establishing a PO Box or arrangement with buddies to have their membership form list an address in a neighboring state, or using their work address, or anything of that sort. Of course, then your mailings would go there and you'd have to deal with that. I have heard o...

It really depends on my range and foot placement, I am either going to step out and fire into the path of the arm ( or where I thing the arm should be) or I am going to step in and tward the sword shoulder and fire at whatever target looks like I have the best chance of hitting. I really don't care ...

That is a mighty powerfull tool to give the marshal. Basicly what you are saying is the marshal has the power to pass or fail what they want when they want and all they have to do is say, "I think it's unsafe." No. It is the marshal's job to enforce the rules as they are written. If they don't like...

Advise the squire to carry a copy of the rules and highlight B. Shields: 1. Shields shall be edged with leather or other padding, or constructed in such a way as to minimize the damage to rattan weapons or other fighters. 2. No bolts, wires, or other objects may project more than 3/8 inch (9 mm) fr...
