For example, I'm using one of Bokalo's aluminum gorget's with a high-necked padded gambeson - would that fly? Hehe I get in enough trouble as it is, don't need marshal's hassling me on top of that At a gue...

Up here, tournaments are required to have a current copy of the rules, for just such these cases. Up here, if they can't produce their copy of the rules, the EM will hear about it. Now, allow me to be a complete bastard about this, and show an interpretation fo the rules that disallows unedged shie...

It has not been published. The re-write says nothing about 1/2 inch padding. I would gently and respectfully suggest that Sir Shaltar has misinterpreted the re-write or possibly is working from an older version as the version that is on the table for review says nothing about ½ inch padding on the throat.

Advise the squire to carry a copy of the rules and highlight B. Shields: 1. Shields shall be edged with leather or other padding, or constructed in such a way as to minimize the damage to rattan weapons or other fighters. 2. No bolts, wires, or other objects may project more than 3/8 inch (9 mm) fro...

I get the feeling he is buying from the same supplier but I could be wrong.

Edit to add:]

It looks like he wants to sell them in groups of 5 at 60.00 per pair for a total of 300.00 plus 60.00 postage.

I'm in for a pair of 12 wide if we can get enough folks together.

2) the hardwear store where I bought them folded up and I can't find any more.
