HowTo on posting pictures to sell merchandise

A picture is worth a thousand words OR a thousand dollars As of late I have seen ALOT of products for sale in the classifieds section of the Armour Archive. Now normally this is both a good thing and a normal thing but what has gotten my attention is the lack of photographs of pieces for sale or eve...

It is NOT Sir Theo. This guy is WAY to skinny to Theo, plus Theo wears more visible armour and a cooler helm.

I don't recognize the guy, who ever it was did an excellent job of keeping his back to th camera even when he died!

He uses a loose "iron chicken" style stance.

What JustMagnus said. Also, for SCA combat a "katana" is a bastard sword. You will not be able to do any "neat" stuff like draw cuts of slashes etc. with it and get anyone to take the shots. SCA combat does not distinguish between different types of the same overall design. Basically you are going t...

I have never seen an example with the mouth open. Was that at the request of the client?

1/2 gaunts usually go for about $25-30 a pair, unless they are really spiff (like hourglass ones with brass trim) those I could see going for $50. But first and formost is advertising and visuals. you shouldn't need a washer on the inside, as long as you know how to correctly peen a rivet. The metal Plates will act as your washer. The side with the leather on it needs the washers to keep from pulling through.

Washers. I'm thinking of using 1.25" fender washers. Is that too much? No those aren't to much, it really kind of depends on what kind of look you are going for. I have been toying with the idea of decorating fender washers with chisel and file to give them a decorative look for a COP. YMMV

I just buy some cheap .99 cents a yard cotton from the fabric department in an dark non obtrusive color and cover it up. Plus if you use it inside your helm it helps with sliding the helm on and off.
