Irish,

You can have living history in the SCA. I have always taken the "Living history" to mean a certain standard or resurch and kit development.

Working on getting the pictures up. Hopefully today. Will try to answer questions asked. Just as a note at the bottom of the message I asked for PMs to call dibs. This was to help me keep things straight. So Dibs called there take priority over ones called on the list. Trying to keep this as fair as...

Some people point the elbows onto the vambraces others use two leather straps. I tend to like the leather straps myself. The legs would be rivited directly to the articulated knees. Getting the patterns right depends on who is going to wear them. Leave out the blue padding. Just go with leather with...

As far as I know right now there will be two corinthian helms, one small the other larger, a pair of bazubands, an alluminum kite shield, a set of plastic with steel arms and legs. There will most likely be more but until I get home in a day or two then I will not know what else. I hate selling armo...

Well I think Shamrock armoury is cool and that they will work through their issues. One of the first things a good business man does is know when to stop taking orders if there is a backlog. Last week I contacted Jackie about a helm I was thinking of. He answered my questions but made it clear that ...

Going to be selling off some armour

Just a heads up for everyone. When I get back home next week I will be putting some items of armour up for sale. I think I need to cull the herd a bit. There will be a couple $100 dollar helms in the mix.

With me Hal's reputation is golden. I must appologise to him about how long this has gone on. I will do up the padding if thats all...

Hal,

You are right. That helm is not a wombat. None of your work will ever compare to wombats. Your work is far too superior to be even close to his junk.

If I had a the money you would never have kept that helmet as long as you have.

put the mail on a leather belt and point it to the coat. For a correct look you could put it under the arming coat/jupon so that it looked like you were wearing the chain coat underneath. But as it is the others are right, a skirt in that form is from a diferent time frame than the rest of your kit....

Issues with the Iraq armour boxes

So I have been wondering since no one has replied to me as willing to take them. What do I do with them if no one wants them?
