I use em. In period I would most likely have had a cut and THRUST sword. A lot of people seem to really not like them saying that a thrusting tip takes away from our game. Though there is no way to know for sure I believe that I fight in a maner that wouldent look completely out of place in the mid ...

I have fought with chains before. I added some light weight alluminum rings on one end. It turned out that adding the rings was a good idea as every fight something hit and snaped the chains. I have been thinking of trying it again. In my mind the get in the way but they also look very cool.

Conal, You are right that my kit can be documented, but I believe that it can only be documented in pieces at this time. The whole shebang is missing too many things to be documented as a proper kit. A historical 14th century knight would be ashamed to wear my kit as it stands. So yes, It is documen...

Unfortunetly no, I still have a lot of work to do. Rivets are dead wrong, plaque belt sits too high, legs are not covered correctly, shoes are not covered correctly, helmet and gauntlets do not match. Now since deploying I have ordered a set of mail covered boots and a new pair of chauses. Jeff Wass...

Use a lid that has a lip around the edge and place coals on the top as well as under. This helps even out the cooking. I have also heard that if you use a rack inside the oven with your bread in another loaf pan on top of the rack it results in a better non burnt bread. I tend to just have fun with ...
