The accounting would depend on your ability to afford a clerk. Stuff to cary on you personaly, A flint and steel, holy relic, psalter, dice or knuckle bones, dagger or belt knife, money. I think at times we carry too much junk around. What do you carry every day?

I purchased one of these a couple of years ago. It looks allright but it is not as advertised. He glued linen around a nogahide base. I had to rework the closures and am planing on building a new one from scratch in the future. I might be willing to sell mine for less than he is asking. Let me think...

I believe that it was an actual holder and was a style in France for a bit. There are quite a few examples showing this and a couple of them actualy show what might be the holder itself.
