I dont know about documentation from period, but soldiers do tend to keep equipment they are used to wearing. At the begining of WWII some soldiers were wearing the doughboy helmet. I picked up a pair of the vibram ones to fight in. Very first pick up the soles came off. I learned real quick to fight in the leather soles. Now some people are amazed that the shoes are slick soled by what I can do while fighting in them.

Here is one I did as a letter of Intent. It has a silk cord, pure bees wax under a red sealing wax, all in a maple cup.

Well the greatest Edwards in history are 14th century> The armour is really cool. Quite a bit of other nifty trinkets as well. We have War and peace, bounty and famine, saints and heracy. And hell we have two popes. Who else can claim that? I mean really. What else do you want.

How long would the team be gone in April? Vacation time is a big thing for me. I have the armour and some weapons allready. My being allowed would depend on price and time. How much would a member be looking at?
