Re: Cheapest and Simplest Persona to do Well (No Nekkid Celt
How about a leper? A long hooded robe thing, some bandages, a wooden bowl and a clapper. You don't need fancy accessories as you wouldent have had them, and you don't need a persona history as no one will talk to you.

Re: Pimp my 15th Century Kit
I would add a rivited set of chain mail standard, voiders and skirt. I also think a painted helm or one of those Italian Sallets would look really good. I have a cheep one that I have been thinking of painting up to make it look just a little nicer. The new helm and pauldrons would be first up on th...

Re: Looking for chainmail sleeves
I plan on pointing them onto an aketon. The hauberk I have is mostly used for my 14th century kit. That is why I would not attatch the sleeves directly. I can't remember where but I have read abour knights wearing a hauberk over a haubergon. This is the look I am going for.

Looking for chainmail sleeves
Anyone know of a source for chainmail sleeves? I am looking for a set of tubes that I can put under my hauberk to make it look like a full sleeve. Flat ring round rivet.

Re: Looking for some starting armour... Greek styled..
To do a Greek kit that looks great is very possible. To do a Greek kit that is authentic and legal is not. I have been building a kit for the last five years and I am still not where it should be. Now as far as armour there is a lot more out there than thorax, greaves and helmet. There have been oth...

Re: Layering your 14th century armour...
My suit is based off of the same style. I use a vest style pourpoint, an arming cote, then chain shirt with globulose over it and then for special events I have a jupon to top it all off. I have found that it is warm but not overbearing. I have worn it that way at TCotT and other large events. I do ...
