Definitely illegal in Meridies, which is a shame. I was suprised when you said this as I have one and have used it for many years in Meridies. I went back to the current rule book and did not find anything that would outlaw it. Under what provision is it illegal? I am not trying to start an argumen...

I think you should do a Navel battle. All the fighters form into teams and each team builds a boat. When the boats battle. The win is decided by the sinking or capture of you opponents boat. I even know of a rather large bay where you could do this at.

I would recommend choosing a specific time in the 14th century and building a kit for it. The difference between an awsome kit and a good one is research.

I too have moved to a period linning. But I use bamboo stuffing instead of cotton or wool. I like it but need to re stuff it as it has settled a bit.

Hopefully there will be a bunch of upgrades this year. Cased greaves and some brass bling.

I am also thinking of doing a complete down grade and starting over. I have been piecing a German 14th century suit together and it might be time to try it out.
