A very good start Sir. Now all you need is some form of chest protection, at least lower arms and some fingers added to those half gauntlets. The legs look quite nice. If you continue your attention to detail with the rest it will become a kit to be proud of.

On the treatment of rope I recomend something I learned about while delving into colonial sailing. Stockholm tar. You greatly increase the life of your rope when you tar them. Not as sticky as you would think just make sure they dry fully before using them.

I could be wrong, but what I was getting out of what Gregory wrote was that there is a huge diference in how reenactment fights and real combatents act. I believe that in reenactments and sport fighting there are a lot more "Heroics " and reckless behavior to the combatants than there actu...
