This answer is for nearsitedness only, so if far sited then use one of the options others have brought up. Have you ever tried on those glasses with the solid black lenses with a number of tiny holes in them? its a cool, they force a near sited persons eye to focus through a smaller area and it work...

check your local laws before forgoing the flame resistant. Its becoming a more and more common requirement for all fabric structures to be so treated. I've seen here in Oregon a fire marshal do a few random checks for flame treated canvas (boughten tents have a tag near the door) if the tag isn't fo...

this is conjecture here, but it looks to me that you held the piece the same why while working your courses. you should rotate the piece while going around each course. To warp the way it did looks to me to be the result of the shape of the hammer face and/or the angle it hits at, add that to the fa...

stop ribs over fabric?

Is there any evidence of a stop rib being used on fabric covered breastplates such as Corrizia? I found one iffigy in my books that looks like it, but its not a large or clear enough picture to determine anything definiative from.

depends on the exact look you are looking for. A vinager bath wil lightly etch the surface leaving a nice even gray finish to it. Simularly dabbing mustard over the surface will give a simular look but modeled and blotchy. You could allways bury it in the back yard for a few weeks and then dig it up...

One trick I did on the two I made was to trap a light weight leather suspension in the roll on the bottom, made for very comfortable wearing.
