I haven't found them any cheaper than you. BUT you can buy the molds to make your own for about half that price and can make sets for friends too. Also great to make extra pawns so you can play Hnefatafl with the same pieces. heres a couple of quick links, if you search around you'll find two differ...

According to the semi local (next shire down the road) equestrian marshal there are eye covers on the market that are made of the same material as fencing mask. I dont have a link and he's at Estrella at the moment but if no one else finds them before he gets back I'll get the info for you.

Mid 15c Italian arm finished (update sep24)

A while back I got one of Boccia's books via ILL, I noticed that many of the mid 15c on arm harness had a very small wrap plate on the vambrace, most about 1/3 of the total arm diameter and a few clear down as small as aprox 1/4 the diam. Becuase of moving I had to return the book before I could sca...

All 16g mild construction, high polish, 5in wide at the elbow (inside measurement). They are currently unstrapped, but I'll strap them if wanted for another $15. I dont make stock helmets, every piece I make is custom fit. Photos do wonders for seeing abnormalities that could make a helm fit wrong, and with a ...

I was asked to make a riveted cauldron, no welds, capacity aprox 1gallon. Heres the results. holds a tad over 5quarts if filled to the rim. It sealed up far better than I thought was possible, I put 1 gallon of water in it and it took 30min for it to loose 1/2gallon, for unsealed riveted constructio...

an intern idea is 3m surface conditioning pads. I use them all the time and can get a near mirror finish between them and a buffing wheel. m I use a plastic backing disk for a 4 1/2in angle head grinder that is designed for sand paper and cut a hole in the middle of the pads. They work awsome. Brian

I have never seen a Gotgarb sunshade. HOWEVER, from their website it says that the sunshades are 8oz, 50/50 cotton poly blend fabric. 1. I think 8oz. is a little thin for such large expanses of fabric. Most pavilions are made of 10oz or 13oz cotton canvas. 2. cotton poly blend means the shade will ...

Gotgarbs is also a well built, I helped set up one of them that is in their pictures. Good people to work with. they are just newer and smaller scale than most of the other manufactures.

looking lots better. You are getting a good grasp of the subtle little differance. As to taking out the creases, what works some times is to workit from the inside over and anvil while its glowing red. Depends on how deep into the steel your fromint tools left marks. Keep up the good work Brian
