I may be wrong, but thats an older article.. and for about what you are paying for those (wrong) rings, I think you can get _real_ riveted rings from Ringlord along with the proper rivets, and the tool to do it.

I am _sure_ I remember reading something about it here.

Bascot, sawmills are few and far between up these parts anymore.. I can find them.. but usually you pay _more_ for full thickness unplaned than you do for planed.. unless you are going board width S4S.. then its a bit more a board foot.

Northwest Lumber (the good hardwood place in Indy) is weird--when you ask for a 2x4, they will cut you a plank that is 2" x 4" (not the 1.5" x 3.5" standard). Consequently, my tent poles are "beefier" than what is standard. Oh.. thats too freakin cool! (and yeah.. i meant 1.5 by 3.5.. my bad)! Maeryk

I discovered I never knew how good I was until someone told me. I had the bad luck in the few one v one tourneys I played in to draw veterans/Knights all the time, and got killed pretty handily. So that wasnt a way to judge, and in the melee tourneys it was usually TEAMS of good guys.. like.. Balfar...

There are a number of ways to make wood look antique. Leaving it outside unprotected for a month is one way.. there are books and probably web pages out there explaining it, I am sure!

Actually Stone portrayed homosexual love between men in general much more openly than I would have thought. In fact, The film seemed to focus on it directly at several points.

No, the grab and yank isnt the thing that I have a problem with at all. I've taken spears from people in melees before. Its the 'hiding behind a wall' for the express purpose of doing that that is pussy. I realize it's as open to personal interpretation as anything else but that's just how it hits ...

CM5. A fighter who has lost his weapon during a melee is not considered helpless, and a "hold" will not be called.
