Vitamin D is fairly easily synthesized just from sun contact.. something we can assume they had more of than we do, can't we? As far as calcium.. I think in todays society we tend to do a lot less soups and stocks "with bones in" during the cooking phase.. that takes a _lot_ of calcium out and leave...

Well, the rule is, as noted, vague.. what is "equivalent"? A glove that locks into the hilt firmly, preventing dislodging?

I doubt I could "throw" my sword if I tried.. let alone "lose" it in combat. That would mean my hand was still inside the glove.

No one has EVER told me I needed a wrist strap on my basket hilts. Course, my hockey gloves "lock" into em pretty good.. I often leave the glove in the hilt and take my hand out. Spear, as mentioned above, is nto a "one handed weapon" even if you are using a buckler. No wrist strap needed. Maeryk

Alrighty then. One of our wenches spotted someone she didnt recognize coming out of the tent of another one of our wenches. She raised the alarm and in seconds there were dogs in the woods fanned out chasing this guy. Since it was dark the night vision goggles came out and were very handy. It took ...

I was thinking a J-roller would work pretty well for that too.

But you arent going to get "bubbles" so much in wet canvas.. the air will push out through the canvas, rather than rolling to the edges.. so I'm not so sure now.

Thanks! I now realize I had no CLUE what "crows feet" meant.. for some reason I thought they were the style that branched towards the ground.. not branched out to the tent.

Do you have any overlap from front to back of the canvas? Or does it basically leave the aluminum edges uncovered? I really wanna do this soon! I have so much leather scrap laying around my house, I could probably laminate a shield just out of that.. so thats what I will be using for my edging. Migh...

I'm about to be covering an old heater with canvas front and back, and edging and painting it as well. I'm going to punch it ...

Turn a long thinnish tenon or bung on the end of hte handle, then turn/drill a hole through the middle of the head. Make sure the shoulder on the handle sits flush and square to the shoulder on the head, and use some good epoxy or urethane glue, and it should hold up. personally, I'd use sliding dov...

Actually the hill is not the Tuchucks ancestral land. E11 where clovenshield camps is the original spot. Stop ignoring the obi-wan voice in the back of your head when you fight. Get a carraige bolt or something like that, and grind the shape you want on/in the head, then buff it to a polish. My initial thought is full calibration. A fully calibrated to the side or back of my mellon thrown from behind (IMHO) would result in a very different reaction than a fully calibrated wrap that lands on my grill (or a positive force pokie). Just my .02, but from a safety perspective, I would worry ...
