Luther Anshelm is a stand-up guy--one of the few armourers that I consider approaching the the quality of the Missaglia and Helmschmeid shops of old. I've bought several things from him, from armour to weapons to accessories...and it's always been a pleasant experience. I'd buy from him again.

I cut mine out of sheet metal, and punch them with my Whitney Punch--but then, that gets the period look I want.

If you don't need to go to that effort, you can find washers at any size you want at any large hardware/home improvement store.

Mine was the eeeevil prototype "Western-Bow"! It shoots Siloflex bolts, and hits like a mace. I love it!

Well, Saturday afternoon will find me off to the local Ace Hardware for the chair pieces used to make the "WMA" style golf-tube bolts. Then, I'll be purchasing some Siloflex to make some "Omarad Stopper" bolts. I'm waiting to get the stoppers from Iain Ruadh (or word on them). Can ya tell I'm excited?

My scabbard is fleece-lined, and had a coating of olive oil on the fleece. Every time my sword is drawn from (or put in) my scabbard, it gets a light coating of oil.
