Re: Bar grill and rivet help asap!

Had the old holes welded up and ground flat and got the new holes drilled. Sometime tomorrow i will get it all reas...

Might be interested depending on what it is.
Can you get/post some more info on it? (brand, model, processor, hard drive, picture, what software comes with it, does it have the original OEM discs, etc.)

I'd doubt that he's too busy to answer emails. He completed an awesome pair of Cuisses for me in the matter of 3 days after Ciad Crown List (2 weeks ago). If you are having trouble with the website I'll let him know and ask if I can forward on his email address to you. Yep, he's checking his emails...

Re: Looking for Baron Gareth Nicodemus Somerset
Baron Gareth probably is working on a big gambeson order (due in couple of weeks) and some post pennsic orders.
I don't think he is checking his email until he finishes the big order.
Looking for anything in particular, PM me and I will pass it along to him.

Pattern for Armour
Does anybody have a pattern for a Churberg breastplate (and all of the other plates) like the ones from Icefalcon or truhearth?
If not, can someone describe how to develop a pattern that will look correct (what and where to measure)?

Magnus & Bigfred, I will politely disagree. 2 examples. Truehearth - $100 16 ga. MS with rolled edges and metal hinges Clang - $125 16 ga. MS Metal hinges and spring pin closure Bokalo? $72.50 each for aluminum, leather hinge vs $80.00 each for full 3/4 stainless arms... *Politeness off* scroll...

Re: I could just Dye . . .
Buy black fabric. You're going to get frustrated and messy trying to dye white cloth black, and it will run when you wash it. Though since you are in Caid, if you really really want to try dying it black talk to Bjo. (Griffin dye works) If anyone can show you how, it's her. But unless you're seriou...

Not sure of the exact content of the fabric. It is a light uphostery fabric, most likely cotton.

I could just Dye . . .
I went to the fabric district in Los Angeles and found some really cool fabric (in white) for $1.99/yd. I bought all that was left. I want to make a party color cotehardie (white and black). I test dyed a piece of the fabric with RIT dye and it turned out purple. I tried using a higher concentration...
