Re: A tent for the Medieval Minimalist...
When I lived in Ansteorra, there was a gent who used to go minimalist. He had a big furry blanket (could have been a real fur for all I know) and a "oiled" canvas tarp. He would just roll up in them.
Only time he deviated is when it was raining really hard.

Re: Anyone have trouble viewing pitbullarmory.com? Order Up

Re: Anyone have trouble viewing pitbullarmory.com? Order Up
I took a look at all the pages. They all seem to come up with the exception of Accessories which gets a 404 error. The menus are a little slow, which may be part of the problem. Some feedback from my view is that the Top of the webpage (where "Pitbull Armory" is), although very beautiful, ...

Re: How do you deal with bruises?
Worry less about the bruise and more about the mobility. you most likely have a deep tissue bruise that has caused the muscle to spasm. (But I'm not a Dr) Take vitamin M (aka motrin) to help reduce the swelling. Also, deep ice soaks, not just ice packs. Put a bunch of ice in water in a bucket or tub...

That's correct.
The cuts run toward the hilt, from the tip. They extend about 8-10 inches down, and are only as wide as the kerf of the saw blade.
Please, can you post some pictures of the sword and the cut you made?

Turnshoes w/pattens, braes, chausses to start.
I would say, lose the sleeves on the surcoat and make the neck opening slightly smaller (y'aren't showin' off the chest hair and chains).
Make a gambeson with more fitted, full-length sleeves.
Cover the smurf-skin with black linen.
