Re: Rethinking bedding for camping events
another option is to suspend canvas tightly (and flat, like a trampolene) within the frame then sleep on/in sleeping bags. This would be similar to a hammock (but without the bend)

Fearghus, Sorry I didn't respond to your PM, I've been busy. Soldering jewelry is simple in theory, but like so many things that are simple in theory takes a lot of practice to do well. Personally, I suck at it (I generally ruin several pieces for every one I get right). You need a torch, some sold...

Brass Jewelry
I am interested in learning how to do some jewelry that is made by using a small jewelers saw on brass pieces. The cut-out pieces are mounted on a solid backing.
However, I can't find any information on how to do it or to get started.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thats what it says, but you cant tell from the photo's on the site.
I have a friend that has the Manatee, but haven't actually seen the Cat's Ass ones up close.
Does anyone that has the Cat's Ass gaunts have good photos to post (or could take some)?

OK- version 1.0. I will be getting stuff to go under and will make a fighting tunic to cover it up. I also have a Hjalmr kettle helm and an Otto type gorget.
