Definately progressing forward. . .

I would lose the long pants and go with Braes and Chausses. And yes, turnshoes.

well i did a few searches and didn't have any luck on pants patterns on the archive. my major problem that i had with my last pants pattern i tried was that they didn't hang like the baggy pants that linen garb makes. They are just slightly baggy at the knees. Was wanting something more baggy all o...

My only gripe is the attachment point to your belt. I think it might be better on the side of the thigh as opposed to the front. The attachment point is really designed for use with a "C-Belt" . . . like what Pitbull sells (no affiliation). I have a pair of Baron Gareth's cuisses as well....

I like Paint.Net (download free from GetPaint.net).

There is also GIMP. (its free)

If you don't want to install something, there is Aviary.com (A whole suite of online photo tools).

All of these are quite easy to use.

MS Gauntlets for Auction on AA!

I have some very sturdy mild steel gauntlets for sale. They have some slight surface rust from being in storage, but nothing that couldn't be cleared up with 30min and a wire brush! These are for folks with large hands! Auction will go through Wednesday, 9 Feb 2011 at 5PM Pacific Time. Bidding start...

A lot of new fighters suffer from the same fate as you.

When I first started, I just hung a piece of leather with some padding behind it just big enough to protect my ass. It only took me a few months then I just took it off my belt and utilized the pain to learn faster.

Really easy to do splinted plastic legs out of 55 gal barrel. As long as you use the plastic toward the middle (not near the top or bottom) of the barrel, it is realtively thin, but very protective. If you don't pad them, you will have a little sting, but not much. Another trick you could try is to ...
