Historically, there is no archeological research that indicates that smart phones or their apps existed during the Middle Ages.

A slight furrow of the brow, a little squaring of the bottom lip and some teeth would give you the more "sinister" look you are talking about but I like this as it is. I like that these sculptures have a life of their own and you are simply releasing them from the steel. Your skills in this style a...

Re: Why don't Squires exist?
I'm a squire. I have no rank based on my Baldric. I didn't look for a belt or a social ranking. I found the SCA and my knight and I were quick to be friends. He asked me when we first hung out at pennsic what I wanted from the SCA and I didn't have any ideas. He asked about being a knight and I sai...

For the Edging, use car door trim. Works great.
For the Face, you can make a cover that also goes over the edging with your device on it. Will make you look very spiff!!

Re: Why don't Squires exist?
I was specificly told by a sitting monach here in Germany that my red belt should be removed [he even had the gall to thank me the next day when i appeared before him with a black belt on] because of the local tradition of squires being the only ones to wear red belts. So the duly appointed Crown, ...

Boots for Sale
Don't want to let these go, but need money to pay for bills as the holidays approach. A pair of lightly used black leather tall boots. They say size 14 but are actually more like an 11 1/2 - 12. Asking $100 (shipping to the US included). http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii158/bigfredlab/Armour%20f...

Re: Tool Choice
Thanks for the help. Some of the things I am looking to make are - Plates for a Coat of Plates - A Bascinet and Visor(s) - Gauntlets So I would expect that I will be working in 14-16 gauge (mostly). I have a good Jigsaw already, but wanted something that would be easier for metalwork (if it exists).
