Re: Removing mail stains
Don't know exactly what makes it work, but . . .
Rub it all over the stained areas (which is the whole garment I assume) using your hands. Then run it through the normal wash cycle.
Here is a blog about it . . . http://www.onefunmom.com/2008/02/using- ... e-laundry/

Re: Removing mail stains
Couple of things to try . . .
- 1. If your local supermarket still carries them, try a fels-naptha bar. Use as directed. http://www.felsnaptha.com/.
- 2. Wash with Fast Orange or Gojo Automotive Hand Cleaner in the washing machine. (dont use the dryer, hang dry . . .).

Ursus: It was not confidence, it was certainty. 100%. Based on innumerable prior history. So it is long-since earned, and thus completely justified. Almost all of the truly iconic images of the SCA I can think of over the past few years were yours. That ain't praise, merely a fact. So thank YOU for...

I would recommend selling the Gambeson and buying (or making) a new one in the color you desire.

The new look for Pennsic. CoTT here I come (for the English). Added spring steel splinted arms and legs by Kieth Williams, avantail on WMA Kettle helm, turn boots, and sholder armor. Currently remaking the CoP shell (same design as this one). I love the weight reduction compared to my old stuff.......

PW,
Check at Upholstery supply stores, especially those that do automotive upholstery.
Also check at auto parts stores for car door trim/edging, some sell it by the yard.
Good Luck!
