1st Century Celt/Roman Aux. Kit REDUCED

I mentioned a few weeks back that I was planning on thinning the herd on some of my impressions that are sitting in the closet. Its time to let go of some stuff and pass it to someone who can make use of it. This will be the first to hit the block in the next few weeks. This is my Celt/Roman auxilia...

WTS 1st Cent Roman Paneula Cloak

This was my first cloak for Roman reenacting. Two blankets worth of properly dyed wool (dirty yellow) were used in making this replica. The bottom edges are a little tattered from use, but only add to the realism for recreating a Roman soldier on campaign. Otherwise, this is a very good cloak for so...

Thorsberg Tunic and Trousers for Sale

I made this for my late Roman/Germanic kit a couple of years ago. The tunic has been worn a few times, but the trousers never have been worn. I based both pieces of clothing from Thorsberg Moor. This set of clothing has been dated to early as the 4th century. I modified the pattern some by not split...

I am trying to do some research on this style of boot. I do know that they were very fashionable in the first half of the 17th century. What is the earliest they start appearing in artwork?

Puritan Clothing Late 16th Century

I am looking for information regarding clothing for Puritans in the late 16th century/early 17th century. Someone mentioned that I should look for a pamphlet published in the 16th century on Puritan "sumptuary" laws, but I am at the end of my rope for online searches.

I don't care how fulled a woolen wool is it can still shrink. If it really needs a cleaning take it to the dry cleaners. I disagree James, it does not need to always go to the dry cleaners. If I ever wash my kit ( I rarely do) I wash it in the tub by hand. I do not think I have ever had to take my ...

Munitions Grade Morion

Along with the help from a good friend of mine, I am planning to copy a generic morion from the late 16th to the early 17th century. From what I am able to gather some of these were constructed from two halves and folded together over the crest and then riveted at the front and back. Many of these a...

WTS Bronze Age Sword

I purchased this earlier in the year in hopes of creating my own bronze age kit. Well, I polished the blade and it sat on my work bench for the past few months gathering dust. Since then, my life has had its ups and downs and I have lost interest in finishing the kit. The blade is a copy of a Bronze...

Since we are all nerds here, I figured someone would have a spare replica laying aound. I am looking for one of the better replicas, not the toys that came out in the 90s.
