M1 Carbine for Sale

Commercial Iver-Johnson M1 Carbine. These were made in the 1960s from surplus US parts. AFAIK everything on this is interchangable with a military carbine. It is not like the Universal commercial carbines. Swapping out the handguard, sight and bayonet lug would make a good field grade re-enacting gu...

BP has been sold to a man of his word. Belt is veg tan leather and made to fit 46 waist, but can go much larger or smaller. You will just need to punch holes to fit. Pewter fittings were purchased from Fettered Cock Pewters. Nearly 40 dollars just in the fittings. Heres your chance to own a fantasti...

Splitting Planks?

I have a 30 inch diameter 4 foot length of black walnut with no knots. There is no where near me that I can have this sawn into planks. So, I am considering splitting it into one 3 to 4 inch plank at the widest, and then having it planned. I would like to use the remaining wood to make legs for a ve...

It is worth noting that this also appears to go out of style well before the end of the Imperial Roman period in western Europe. A 4th century Roman military belt looks very different and has no "apron". I'm not sure exactly when the transition takes place. Aprons are totally out of fashi...
