I am 5'6" 150 pounds... Being knocked around by all the big guys can get tiring quick so I try to keep mobile and learn how to move better than other people that are considerably larger and taller then me.

That is a very nice gorget. One of the best leather ones I have seen in a long time. You did a kick ass job on the tooling to. I have always hated gorgets especialy when you have a later period persona such as myself. And as everyone else is saying... More Pics!!

I am on my second suit of lamellar. MY first set is 1.5 inches wide by 3 inches long 20 gauge 401 stainless. They absorb impact pretty good even without padding underneath. Well I am going to have to try this now, your etching turned out very nice. I am making shoulders for my scale armor with the Roman style. Now I definitely need to buy some brass and make them look or at least attempt to do some fine etching like that.

I always wanted to learn how to use the single handed spear. It seems in many ways a very effective fighting without losing your defense of the shield. I think there are alot of interesting tactics you could use with this type of fighting style. Hopefuly someday soon I will begin learning it.
