No, I don't think so. Compare the shape over the brow and around the eyes again. :)
Your example looks as if you could at least see out of it without being a bug-eyed freak

I would be totally honoured to be challenged in this manner. I'd almost certainly get my butt kicked BUT - I'd fight like fury AND get an expenses paid holiday to the States. So - how can I goad someone into making such a challenge? How did ya do it Josh?. Any groups feel like challenging me? You co...

Also wether you want to do historical re-enactment or SCA combat. For the SCA check out www.sca.org , also m 2) Books - check out library, ask for recommen...

Right.
Not personally sure which groups are in Suffolk. Certainly Regia will be somewhere.
This site - http://www.re-enact.com/ will give you a list of many, but not all, groups around the country. The full listing gives addresses. Also tells you what time period the groups cover.

Strongbow - don't get me wrong - I'll consider anything that someone thinks I could do, even something I've not done before - always ready for something new! :) So the tech/avionics is an option.
Will be checking out all suggestions, including the historical attractions.
Cheers guys

Seamus - I don't think they're carrying that as stock - I think they order as they sell. If you check Payment Instructions near bottom of auction they say
"Depending on availability, shipping could be 2-4 weeks."

OK - having checked out the requirements etc on the High Commision site (London) Canada seems easier so consider it an option.
SO - need job in USA or Canada!!! (Didn't someone advertise on on here recently? - can't find it!)

Ok, not sensitive! Required money I guess would depend on where I was living, due to different housing costs. I estimate probably $25k or upwards. For Housing we're prepared to start low and work up! Not sure about this one, but a) you don't need big trees for arrows, b)you can make arrows from stout reeds that may grow near any lakes/rivers, c)trade/steal, d)bamboo would be available to more eastern groups.

Just a few ideas really and probably completely inaccurate :)

Good idea.

Yes, I do caution myself with the grass is greener. But this is something I'm positive about, as are wife and son. If it works out, then we've taken a big stride and made it. If it didn't work out at least we tried.

Michael/Strongbow This is the problem - if I get a green card (which the prospective employer has to start the process of) I can work in the USA. Just wondered, if you look at quantity for sale and so on. Wasn't sure wether Ashcraft farmed stuff out or not.
Why would you pay $40 more when you could get it direct I wonder?
